Palworld implements a leveling system for player characters. Upon entry into the world a new player will start out at level 1 and can achieve a maximum level of 50. Leveling up requires experience points which are acquired through the various activities in the game.
Experience Points
Leveling up in Palworld requires experience points gained by performing various actions in the world. Many actions will award XP such as crafting, killing pals, capturing pals and killing bosses. While experience points are awarded through most activites in the game, capturing pals rewards the most by far. The first 10 pals captured award a significant amount of XP, and the 10th capture rewards a bonus amount. As your level increases so too does the amount of experience points gained through capturing Pals. In fact, even low level Pals still award a significant amount of XP even at higher player levels. It's always worth capturing a low pal, provided you haven't yet caught 10 of that type.
